A full-home repaint inside and out, with proper heritage prep on the weatherboards and a colour scheme that finally does the cottage justice.
Situation
A heritage cottage losing its weatherboards
The owners had been putting off a full repaint for years. The weatherboards were lifting in spots, the trim had bled, and the interior was still in two different decade-old colour schemes from previous owners. They wanted one painter who could handle the whole thing without losing the character of the cottage.
Solution
Heritage prep first, then a fresh palette
We stripped, sanded and primed the weatherboards properly, the unglamorous work that decides whether paint lasts five years or fifteen. Then a heritage-appropriate two-tone exterior and a warm neutral interior across the living areas, bedroom and kitchenette. Premium low-VOC paints throughout.
